About

I care about the small things that make an app feel easy: pages that load on slow mobile data, forms that never lose what you typed, and words you only need to read once.

The path so far

Cadana

Senior frontend engineer · 2024 to now

Payroll and payments for companies that pay people in more than 100 countries. I build the web apps their teams and workers use every day.

Across The Horizon , then Pay4Me App , now Radius

Lead web engineer, then engineering team lead · 2020 to 2024

Across The Horizon guides people who want to study or work abroad. It grew into Pay4Me App, an app for paying school fees and other bills abroad, which later became Radius (opens in a new tab).

Payit , then Gladepay , now Gladefinance

Frontend developer, then frontend and product engineer · 2018 to 2020

Payit started in e-commerce, back in the Joomla days. There I was part of the team that built Shuri, a chatbot on Facebook Messenger. Payit grew into Gladepay, a full payment processor like Paystack and Flutterwave, which is now Gladefinance (opens in a new tab). We built the dashboard. I rebuilt the checkout they used then in Vue, built its WordPress plugin (opens in a new tab), and made our pages fast with AMP and Google's Workbox.

SQT Web Solutions

Frontend developer · 2017 to 2018

Where it started. I built WordPress sites for SQT's (opens in a new tab) clients and made them load fast with AMP.
